NGC Constructors Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract for the construction of the first Marcus Theatres in the Western United States, specifically in Tacoma, WA.  Construction is slated to begin in November 2019. The new theatre will be located at Tacoma Mall. The project will be lead by Denise Molyneaux, who has 14 years of expertise in cinema construction. NGC welcomes the Tacoma project as a foot in the door of the US market. With specialization in cinema and a long-term vision to become the world leader in entertainment construction by building, maintaining and supplying entertainment facilities, the construction company plans to follow the successes of its Canadian sister company, north of the border. NGC’s US offices are headquartered in Dallas, TX. NGC has been involved in construction across the nation since 2003. For the past decade, NGC has focused on cinema construction for, among others, the largest theatre circuit in Canada from coast to coast. Marcus Theatres is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Its original theatre was purchased in Ripon, WI in 1935 and the chain has continued to expand ever since. Under the leadership of Rolando B. Rodriguez, it operates a total of 1,098 screens at 90 locations in 17 states.  Together, the teams of NGC Constructors and Marcus Theatres look forward to creating a theatre experience that features innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction as the ‘reel’ benefits.

NGC is pleased to announce our expansion to the USA with the addition of an office in Dallas, Texas. An Ontario office has always been part of our plans for NGC and sister company, MyPlace. We've been doing work in the province since 2003, and many of the clients we work with in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan are headquartered in Ontario. We've heard time and time again how important it is for us to have a stronger presence in the province; now is the time for us to make that happen. Alfredo Hermano, our CEO, is in the process of moving with his family, and will manage the new office (which will be up and running later this month). Alfredo will continue in his role as CEO of both NGC and MyPlace and it's safe to say, he’s going to be on a plane a lot as things get going, ensuring our Western Canadian projects, clients and employees get the support they need through this transition. But we’re excited to have the opportunity to connect face to face with our Ontario-based clients on a much more regular basis. Maarten will remain in Vancouver in his role as Chief Operating Officer of both companies, with Dale Bellavance in his role as Executive Vice President. The NGC and MyPlace teams are really excited about our ability to provide more support and service to our Ontario-based clients, and we’ll share more information as plans develop.
